These felt toys are fun to make for your favorite canine.

Size: Bears about 11 tall, bones about 10" long, both in bulky weight yarn. Since both bears and bones can be any size, other weight of yarn may be used to change the size.

Yarn Requirements: Choose a bulky wool that will felt easily and firmly.

Bear: 115 yards, Bone: 105 yards

Needles: US size 11 or other size according to the weight yarn you use.

Gauge: Approx 12 sts = 4" before felting. It is not necessary to get an exact gauge, but knitting must be loose to felt properly. Note that knitting at a looser gauge than suggested will require more yarn.
