CA - Gothic Spire Sock

Sizes XS [S, M, L] Directions are for size XS with directions for other sizes following in brackets. When only one number is given it applies to all sizes. This is a top down pattern.

Finished Measurements Leg circumference - 8 [8, 9.5, 9.5] inches. Foot circumference - 8 [8.5, 9, 9.5] inches.

Materials

2 [3, 3, 3] skeins of Louet Gems Pearl [100% machine washable merino wool; 185 yards per 50 gram skein] (shown in Eggplant) OR similar fingering weight sock yarn.

Circular or double pointed needles size US #1.5 / 2.5 mm OR size needed to obtain gauge

Stitch markers (optional if using double pointed needles)

Tapestry needle

Cable needle Note: Size S can be knit with only 2 skeins of yarn for foot length of 8.5 inches. For longer feet, size S can be knit with only 2 skeins of yarn by shortening Cuff or by working one less pattern repeat in the Leg.

Gauge 32 stitches / 48 rows = 4 inches in stockinette. 36 stitches / 48 rows = 4 inches in Gothic Spire pattern.
